This course is one of the licensing requirements in the State of Ohio to receive a Home Inspector License. It is designed to give you hands on experience performing home inspections. This course is conducted at homes in the North end of Columbus and at our Columbus classroom facilities. You will be performing home inspections on real world homes with an instructor and writing inspection reports with the software of your choice. The reports for each inspection will then be reviewed and discussed with an instructor in a classroom setting.

     You can add an optional Peer Review Inspection to this class to complete this portion of the licensing requirements. A peer review inspection is you inspecting a home on your own that has already been inspected by a State of Ohio approved licensed home inspector. To pass the Peer Review Inspection, you are required to identify at least seventy percent of the material defects with the property.      In addition to meeting Ohio's home inspector licensing requirements, our 80 hour course is designed to prepare you to pass the National Home Inspector Exam and give you the practical knowledge needed to perform professional home inspections and run your home inspection business. Our classroom training includes props for hands on learning and two days of fieldwork in area homes for even more hands on learning.
