Ohio Home Inspector License Costs

     Starting your home inspector career is relatively inexpensive. Listed below are the costs associated with becoming an Ohio licensed home inspector.

80 Hour Pre-Licensing Class
In addition to teaching you all about the components of a house and what home inspectors look for, our class is an excellent way to prepare for the National Home Inspector Exam. We offer financing for this course.

40 Hour Home Inspector Experience Class
In our experience class, you will be performing home inspections in real houses with an instructor. We offer financing for this course.

Peer Review Inspection
We always schedule Peer Review Inspections the same week as the 40 Hour Home Inspector Experience class so they can both be completed in the same week. If you take the 80 Hour Pre-Licensing Class and the 40 Hour Home Inspector Experience Class with us, the Peer Review Inspection is free.

National Home Inspector Examination
Paid to testing company.

General Liability Insurance Policy
You are required to purchase and maintain a $100,000/$300,000 aggregate general liability insurance policy. An errors and omissions policy is also highly recommended. Paid to insurance company.
